Holly Arntzen and Kevin Wright are the core members of the Artist Response Team (ART).
These singer/songwriters/producers create songs, projects and musical events that educate about ecology.
ART produces Voices of Nature school music programs throughout Canada and internationally, that put children and youth in a leadership role to inspire their families, schools and communities to take positive action. For the past 25 years ART has worked closely with stewardship organizations. They take out messages through music that make connections between reducing waste and protecting wildlife and habitats.

The Artist Response Team (ART, est. 1991) is an independent, Vancouver-based production house specializing in music and entertainment that educates about ecology. ART is headed up by singer/songwriter/producers Holly Arntzen and Kevin Wright and their band, the Wilds, who have written a library of eco-rock songs. ART blazes new trails with its Voices of Nature School Music Programs and Community Concerts; a steady stream of projects happen annually throughout Canada and beyond. Their 8th annual Edmonton project in 2015 saw over 2000 students pack the Jubilee Auditorium and was filmed as a TV special on water conservation, Water For Life, which aired on CTV2 in Alberta and PBS out of Spokane.

They work with thousands of youth every year, producing spring tours in the Skeena and Fraser River watersheds called Up Your Watershed! and Rock the Salish Sea tours to coastal communities. ART’s award-winning music-based educators’ handbooks provide curriculum-linked activities connected to song lyrics, and help teachers bring music into the classroom for environmental education. Voices Of Nature projects put musicians and youth in a leadership role; the Wilds and 400 students singing and speaking out for nature, to standing ovations from audiences, exemplifies the excellence ART brings to community.

Kevin Wright
"Honestly, the program is so incredible and the concert was the BEST - I think the most memorable school event I have experienced with my kids so far. I was so overcome with emotion the whole time. I had the tingles and everything. My hope would be for my youngest to get to experience it as well. I can't imagine any better use for our school funds."
Heather Kamitakahara, PAC member, Connaught Heights Elementary - New Westminster, BC
"I am still hearing from parents and community members about how much they enjoyed and valued their experiences at the Rock the Salish Sea concert created and presented by you and The Wilds at Southlands.
Comments include: “Absolutely spectacular! That was the best concert, and I’m not just talking about school concerts, I’ve ever attended!” ... “My kids are still singing the songs and I can’t believe how much they learned about sustainability and the environment"... "I could not believe the confidence of my shy child as she sang her heart out, complete with actions, on stage!” Annie O'Donoghue, Principal, Southlands Elementary - Vancouver, BC

"All year I have been working very hard with my students to improve their speaking and presentation skills. Many of them were very timid when presenting, even when just presenting to small groups of other students. I don't know where and how the magic took place, but there was something about the practices and the concert that raised the proficiency in their oral language and presentation skills and bolstered their confidence."
